Super Bowl Predictions: Steelers Might Pull It Out, Ndamukong Suh Says

The 2011 Super Bowl is getting closer meaning you're going to hear more and more predictions on the game between the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers. We talked with Detroit Lions DT Ndamukong Suh at the ESPN studios in Dallas this week and asked him for his prediction.

He’s in a somewhat unique position of having played both the Steelers and Packers this year. The Pittsburgh game was their first preseason game so he didn’t get much out of that and of course his Lions met the Packers twice as NFC North opponents.

“To be honest with you, it’s kind of hard for me to predict who’s going to take that one. I don’t have a favorite yet because I have friends on both sides. I know a rookie who plays for the Steelers, I know Brandon Jackson who I played with at Nebraska and also Troy [Polamalu] is from Oregon and I’m from Oregon so I’m rooting for him a little more. I think it’s going to be a good game, high scoring and it’s just a matter of which defense will make that stop.”

So we didn’t get the money quote with his hard prediction of the winner and a score but he did hint at who he thought would pull it out.

“I’m not good at predictions or scores but I think the Steelers might pull it out.”

Of course if the Packers win, Suh’s Lions will have to play the world champions twice next year. Something tells me Suh won’t be intimidated by that.
