Forbes released their annual top 10 most influential athletes list and four NFL players made the cut including New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (No. 2), Pittsburgh Steelers S Troy Polamalu (No. 6) and Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning (No. 7).

Those three are no-brainers as the quarterbacks are the two most popular players in the league and Polamalu owns a ridiculous level of the women’s demographic. Oh, and all three have won a Super Bowl.
The fourth NFL player on the list is a curious one -- Denver Broncos QB Tim Tebow.
He has attempted just 82 passes -- completing 41 of them -- and has just one victory as a starter. He’s done nothing on the field to suggest he’s the next Brady or Manning. Yet he comes in at No. 10 on the Forbes list. It’s pretty incredible, really.
What’s even more incredible is that this actually represents a drop for Tebow -- he came in third last year. I’d predict that Tebow’s star continues to fall until he does something on the field to warrant a spot on the top 10.
