Albert Haynesworth’s Road Rage Assault Case Dismissed

That road rage case attached to Albert Haynesworth in February, which is of course separate from the other ongoing case against the Washington Redskins DT, has been dismissed. From the sounds of it, Haynesworth paid his accuser, leading to the end of the case. Terms haven't been disclosed, but that appears to be the reason for this development.

Haynesworth was accused of exiting his vehicle and striking a man during a traffic dispute. His attorney says the tackle’s biggest mistake was getting out of his car in the first place and acknowledges the alleged victim received a bloody nose in the following encounter, though he says the two parties disagree on exactly how said nose reached such a state.

This will give Haynesworth more time to focus on making it through his sexual abuse trial, which is set for this summer.
