Introducing The SB Nation iPhone App

Exciting news, sports fans: The SB Nation iPhone app is here! Steve Jobs himself approved before resigning yesterday, so you can now head over to the iTunes App Store and download our newest toy. Finally, all your favorite SB Nation writers, bloggers and communities will be available for you to carry around in your pocket.

Here’s a quick look at how it works, what it does and some of its great features (oh, and it’s FREE, by the way):

With the SB Nation app, you’ll be able to get content from the entire network. In designing the app, we identified what we think are the three pillars of what makes SB Nation valuable to you, the sports fan:

  1. Unrivaled breadth and depth of sports coverage from the fan perspective
  2. Individual team and sport communities and conversations
  3. Real-time breaking-news streams

With the app, you’ll be able to customize your newsfeed with your favorite teams and blogs, follow individual StoryStreams for updates on the stories you care about, and, perhaps most importantly, you will also be able to read, reply and post comments to any story, right from the app.

Want to share your review after downloading? You can do so right here in the App Store.

Have questions? Let us know in the comments -- We’re interested in feedback and want to know your thoughts on our new app, and what updates you’d want to see in the future. (Before you ask: The Android version will be available by the end of the year.)
