S Nick Collins suffered a scary-looking neck injury in Week 2 and the Packers confirmed he would be placed on injured reserve, ending his 2011 season.

Collins laid on the field as trainers tended to him and a stretcher was eventually brought out to carry him off. The Packers announced later that night that Collins had movement in his extremities.
At his Monday press conference, head coach Mike McCarthy announced that Collins would go on injured reserve because of the neck injury. That will officially end Collins 2011 season.

Collins has registered 17 interceptions over the past three years and has been a stalwart for the Packers defense. During his first six seasons, he has only missed three games and has started every game in which he’s played. He has registered 413 tackles and defended 62 passes in his prolific career.
