NFL Roster Cuts: Pittsburgh Steelers Cut 21, Still Have More To Make

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced the release of 21 players on Friday evening, but that brings their roster down to 58 players, five players over the limit. Guard Keith Williams is the name that stands out the most as he was the team's sixth-round pick in 2011.

The Steelers have until 4:00 p.m. ET on Saturday to cut five more players. SB Nation Pittsburgh believes the other cuts could come at punter, both sides of the defensive line, wide receiver and tight end. It seems as though Weslye Saunders will make the team as an undrafted rookie.

SBN Pittsburgh was surprised at the release of Donovan Warren, a defensive back who had become a fan favorite. Warren was originally an undrafted rookie free agent out of Michigan in 2010.
