AFC Divisional Playoffs: Broncos Add Receiver, Place Spencer Larsen On IR

The Denver Broncos will be without fullback Spencer Larsen in the AFC Divisional matchup against the New England Patriots on Saturday. Larsen was placed on IR Tuesday and replaced by wide receiver D'Andre Goodwin.

Larsen apparently sprained his MCL during regular-season finale against the Kansas City Chiefs. He did not play in Sunday's win over the Pittsburgh Steelers and was replaced by Austin Sylvester.

The move allows the Broncos the bolster their wide receiver corps. Eric Decker is expected to miss the game against the Patriots. Goodwin had been one of the Broncos' final cuts at the start of the year and rejoined the practice team in October. The rookie had a solid, but unspectacular career at Washington. During his senior season in 2010, he caught 44 passes for 530 yards and four touchdowns.
