Texans Vs. Ravens, NFL Playoffs 2012: Ravens Have Never Lost To Texans

Last Saturday, the Houston Texans appeared in, hosted and won the first playoff game in the franchise's ninth season of existence. On Sunday, they can cross another item off their bucket list: Beat the Baltimore Ravens.

In five meetings over the last nine seasons, the Texans are 0-5 against the Ravens, who extended the streak to five with a 29-14 win on October 16 in Baltimore that was powered by 161 total yards of offense from Pro Bowl running back Ray Rice.

The two franchises have played three games against one another under current head coaches Gary Kubiak (Texans) and John Harbaugh (Ravens). In those games, the Ravens are averaging 34.7 points per game to the Texans’ 18.3 points per game average. Perhaps that explains why the opening line of Ravens -7 has increased this week.
