NFC Wild Card 2012, Lions Vs. Saints: Marques Colston Fumble Gives Ball Right Back To Lions

After the Detroit Lions marched right down the field to take an early 7-0 lead over the New Orleans Saints, Drew Brees took the field and began a drive of his own. Brees picked up 23 yards on his first pass to Devery Henderson and two plays later Darren Sproles took the ball 14 yards off the right side of the offensive line.

It looked like the Saints would easily go down the field and match the Lions' drive, but on a short pass from Brees to wide receiver Marques Colston the Saints turned the ball over. Lions linebacker Justin Durant popped the ball out of Colston's hands and the Lions recovered as the Saints were the first team to blink.
