Brandon Pettigrew injury: Expecting to play makes him a fantasy start in Week 6
Detroit Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew expects to play in Week 6. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

The Lions are off to a rocky start in a very competitive NFC North division and could use a win. The Eagles have a lot of firepower, so the Lions will be asked to match that. Whether or not he’s bothered by injury, Pettigrew will be asked to produce in Week 6.
Fantasy Analysis: Pettigrew is in a very good position to be a productive fantasy tight end. The Lions defense has been atrocious this season, so the offense has been asked to score a lot of points. Furthermore, said offense has no real ground game, leaving much of the work up to quarterback Matthew Stafford and the aerial attack.
Pettigrew's downside is that he has been known to drop passes. But with the attention that Calvin Johnson gets on the outside, Pettigrew can be extremely productive on a good day. He is expected to play this weekend versus the Eagles and should be a start in most fantasy leagues.
