San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis was a non-factor in Week 6 versus the New York Giants. Davis has been the source of much of San Francisco's offensive production and big plays downfield. The Giants did a good job of limiting the Niners' Pro Bowl pass-catcher.
Vernon Davis shut down in Week 6: Fantasy Implications
San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis was limited in Week 6. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Davis was limited to just 3 catches for 37 yards and couldn’t find the end zone. San Francisco’s quarterback also had some difficulties of his own, which of course did not help Davis’ production on Sunday.
Fantasy Analysis: The 49ers tight end has been a nice surprise for fantasy owners this year. To start the season, Davis appeared to be building off a very strong finish to the 2011 season. Davis has grown into a yards and touchdowns machine, but was shut down in Week 6. However, Davis continues to be a viable fantasy option week-to-week.
Davis should bounce back as soon as next week, when the 49ers play the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football. He can be counted on to help your fantasy team -- this week was just a temporary setback.
