Desperate for a win, the Packers got one on Sunday night, but it did not come without consequence. Green Bay lost three defensive starters to injury against the Houston Texans.

Linebacker Nick Perry sat out the entire second half after injuring his left knee. His spot as filled by Erik Walden.

The linebackers took another hit when D.J. Smith also left with a knee injury. He was replaced by Brad Jones on the field.

Late in the game, cornerback Sam Shields left the field with a shin injury after it looked like he had been kicked. Replacing him was Jarrett Bush.

The Packers' thin running back crew also took a hit as Brandon Saine was carted to the locker room with a knee injury.

The Detroit Lions also lost a defensive starter on Sunday, as cornerback Jacob Lacey left the team's victory with a concussion. He was replaced by Bill Bentley, who had been the starter earlier in the season.

In their loss, the Minnesota Vikings avoided any injuries while the Chicago Bears had a bye week.
