RB Kahlil Bell released, Bears sign TE Brody Eldridge: Fantasy implications
Chicago Bears running back Kahlil Bell was released on Monday. We break down the fantasy implications.

General manager Phil Emery said recently that the team was happy with its current group of wide receivers and this move seems to support that position. Without Jeffery, Devin Hester and Earl Bennett should see additional playing time for the Bears, who had a bye in Week 6 and will face the Detroit Lions on Monday night in Week 7.
Fantasy Impact: This is a little bit of a surprise unless the Bears think Eldridge will help in the passing game. The Bears are 4-1 and most of its passing offense already goes through Brandon Marshall. This is not likely to change.
Hester and Bennett, meanwhile, are not viable fantasy options in most weeks. They should get a few more chances but Marshall is the only consistently reliable player in Chicago’s passing game. Jeffery could have some value when he comes back but he’s only worth stashing on rosters in dynasty or keeper formats.
