Patriots vs Jets: Devin McCourty kickoff return for touchdown ties score early

In a classic case of ‘Tortoise v. Hair’, the Patriots show the Jets a contrast of scoring styles.

Well, that had to be disheartening.

After the New York Jets put together an 11-play, 76-yard drive that included two snaps to Tim Tebow (and nine to Mark Sanchez, which isn't much better) the Patriots' Devin McCourty went significantly further than that on just one play:

McCourty took the kickoff 104 yards on just the eighth kickoff return of his career, tying the score at 7-7 in the middle of the first quarter. Tebow will likely have to join the coverage unit now.
