Detroit just parted the sea as Lynch gave the Seahawks their longest play of the season. It was the longest run for Seattle since an 88-yard Shaun Alexander run in 2005.
After Ryan Broyles scored at the end of the first quarter for Detroit, Seattle found something they've been looking for all year: Offense. Lynch's previous career-long of 56 yards came in his rookie season with the Bills, back in 2007. He's become known for his "Beast Mode" running attack that can turn a 2-yard loss into a 3-yard gain, but in this case he just turned a 77-yard gain into a 77-yard gain.
