The New York Giants suffered several injuries to starting defenders in Week 8 action, as safety Antrel Rolle and linebacker Chase Blackburn left the game against the Dallas Cowboys and did not return.
NFC East injury report: Antrel Rolle, Chase Blackburn hurt for Giants
The New York Giants saw two starting defensive players leave the game due to injury Sunday, as Antrel Rolle and Chase Blackburn were both hurt against the Dallas Cowboys. Dallas lost Dan Connor due to a stinger in his first week in a starting role.

Rolle suffered what appeared to be a concussion when his head slammed into the turf. Blackburn hurt his hamstring and had to be helped off the field. Both players are questionable for next week's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Backups Keith Rivers and Bear Pascoe also left the game with injuries, although their status is unknown going forward.
On the other side of the field, the Cowboys' Dan Connor will have an MRI after straining his neck. It's his second stinger in two weeks, testing the Cowboys' depth. Connor, himself, is a backup for Sean Lee, whose season ended last week due to a toe injury. Lee left the game in the second quarter and did not return after missing some practice earlier in the week.
Mardy Gilyard left the Philadelphia Eagles' game against the Atlanta Falcons with a hamstring injury and is questionable for next week. Fellow wide receiver DeSean Jackson left the game as well for X-rays at one point, but returned to the field.
The Washington Redskins escaped their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers without any major injuries, but DeAngelo Hall might miss some playing time due to suspension after an outburst at the game's referees.
