The Arizona Cardinals and the St. Louis Rams have been exchanging hard hits for more than three quarters, locked in a rough and tumble defensive battle. The Rams took a 10-3 lead into the fourth quarter, but extended that with one big play from quarterback Sam Bradford and speedy wide receiver Chris Givens.
Cardinals vs. Rams, Thursday Night Football: Sam Bradford extends St. Louis lead
The St. Louis Rams extended their lead over the Arizona Cardinals on a big play in the fourth quarter.

Givens went streaking down the left side of the field on third-and-11. Bradford wound up and chucked a perfectly placed ball down the field to the rookie receiver for the touchdown.
Bradford and Givens have struggled to connect throughout the game. The two connected on a big play last week, but were unable to get the touchdown. This time, it counted for six points, the first touchdown of Givens’ NFL career, a 51-yard pass that put the Rams on top 17-3 early in the fourth quarter.
The Cardinals entered the game with a 4-0 record, and could be facing their first loss of the season.
