Watch Antonio Cromartie almost catch a pass in the Texans-Jets game

Cromartie almost hauled in a deep ball.

Antonio Cromartie was oh-so-close to his first career reception. The Jets cornerback lined up at receiver on one play midway through the second quarter of Monday's game against the Texans and Mark Sanchez fired a deep ball to Cromartie.

It looked like Cromartie held onto the ball and made the reception but he forgot a key rule as a receiver -- drag your foot in bounds. Cromartie stepped out, as you can see below:

The Jets are an easy team to follow. Receiver or cornerback, it’s still Sanchez’s fault!
