The injury that's drawn the most attention for the Buffalo Bills is one that might have no effect on games. Star defensive end Mario Williams has complained publicly about an issue with his left wrist possibly making him less effective, but the team hasn't put him on any injury reports. Williams has been able to participate in all the team's games and practices, but the NFL still mandates that any injuries - -even ones that don't cause players to miss time -- should be listed. The team will likely be fined for their failure to do so.

Mario Williams has been playing with an unreported wrist injury, while the Buffalo Bills also lost Jairus Byrd after hurting a muscle in his chest. Daniel Thomas suffered a head injury in the Miami Dolphins’ win.

In terms of actual injuries on the Bills, a pair of starters in free safety Jairus Byrd and right guard Chad Rinehart left the team's game with San Francisco Sunday, Byrd injuring a chest muscle and Rinehart his calf. Neither returned to the game, and both are listed as day-to-day.
The Miami Dolphins lost a running back providing depth for Reggie Bush Sunday, as Daniel Thomas left the game after a blow to his head from Rey Maualuga. The second-year man out of Kansas State left the game in the fourth quarter, and will likely be subject to NFL concussion policy before his return is possible.
Nose tackle Kenrick Ellis left the New York Jets' Monday night game after hurting his knee. The team also had a pair of players, linebacker Josh Mauga and wide receiver Clyde Gates, with their arms in slings after the game. The status of all three players is unknown thus far.
The New England Patriots didn't suffer any major injuries.
