The Houston Texans defeated the New York Jets, 23-17, Monday night; however, remaining unbeaten may have come at a big price. Currently, the Texans are waiting to hear on the ACL status of linebacker Brian Cushing, who left Monday's game early in the second quarter after he was cut blocked by Jets' guard Matt Slauson.
NFL injury report: Texans linebacker Brian Cushing may have ACL tear
Texans’ Brian Cushing may have suffered a season-ending injury Monday night.

Many media outlets are reporting Cushing could have torn his ACL and might miss the remainder of the season. If so, the loss would be huge for the Texans, who would lose their starting middle linebacker and leading tackler. Cushing will undergo an MRI sometime Tuesday.
As for Texans' running back Ben Tate, he did not play Monday and is still questionable for Sunday's contest against the Green Bay Packers.
Meanwhile, the rest of the AFC South teams also had their share of injuries.
In their impressive 30-27 win over the Packers, the Indianapolis Colts suffered injuries to defensive end Robert Mathis (knee) and defensive tackle Fili Moala (knee). Both Mathis and Moala are questionable for this week's contest at the Jets.
The Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans did not suffer any new injuries in Week 5. However, the Titans are still hoping quarterback Jake Locker (shoulder), defensive end Scott Solomon (hamstring) and linebacker Patrick Bailey (hand) will return this week after not playing against the Minnesota Vikings.
Tennessee plays the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday. The Jaguars have a bye week.
