The line opened with the Falcons as three-point favorites. As seen on both OddsShark and the SB Nation NFL odds page, the line has gone up to 4.5 points for a couple of books, and others are at four points as money has come in on Atlanta.
In week eight, the Cowboys lost by five after closing as 2.5-point underdogs to the New York Giants. The Falcons beat the Philadelphia Eagles by 13 while also being 2.5-point underdogs.
The over-under point total is set at 47.5 points, which matches up closely with the two teams’ scoring averages. Atlanta is averaging almost 29 points per game, while Dallas is averaging just less than 20.
The matchup of the game for the line and the over-under is Matt Ryan and the Falcons’ passing attack against the Dallas defense. The Falcons throw for 271 yards per game, but the Cowboys ranked third in the league in passing defense, surrendering just 188 passing yards per game.
