A warm Sunday afternoon in November has worked wonders for Peyton Manning, as the Denver Broncos quarterback is putting on a clinic against the Carolina Panthers.

Now at halftime, Manning is completing an absurd 80% of his passes in the first half, throwing for 135 yards and a touchdown. The score, which came in the first quarter, was a simple ten-yard pass to wide receiver Brandon Stokley, who the Panthers lost in coverage, allowing him to trot into the end zone.

A Carolina pass rush that has been effective in recent weeks has been non-existent today. The Broncos' offensive line has stonewalled the Panthers, giving Manning the perfect pocket to operate from. Demaryius Thomas has been the biggest benefactor thus far, catching five passes for 58 yards. However, late in the first half Thomas went down with an apparent left knee injury, which could have a huge effect on Denver's ability to move the ball down the field.
