Jets vs. Seahawks 2012: Blog reacts to New York dropping to 3-6

Gang Green Nation breaks down the good and the bad in the Jets’ loss - and there was a whole lot of bad.

Otto Greule Jr

The New York Jets are now 3-6. Their defense gave up 28 points to the Seattle Seahawks and their rookie quarterback, Russell Wilson. Their offense was only able to put up seven points. They lost, 28-7, and don't look like a team with any of the high hopes it had for itself coming into the season.

Blame can be placed in a lot of places and Gang Green Nation didn’t hesitate to point the finger.

First, it was quarterback Mark Sanchez, but you knew that already.

“The Jets’ problems do not end with Sanchez. They certainly begin with him, though. I’m struggling to figure out a single thing he does well at this point.”

Ouch. His offensive coordinator, Tony Sparano, couldn’t get out of the crosshairs either. It’s not like Sanchez is out there calling mediocrity on his own.

“It probably wouldn’t make much of a difference given the quarterback play, but I just don’t get what Sparano is doing with this offense.”

Neither does he. The negatives were long and the positives were a nice list that seemed to be thrown together for the sake of having positives to dispute the negative. Gang Green Nation is trying its best to see the good in this team but they aren’t making it any easier with their week-to-week performance.
