The Cincinnati Bengals snapped a four-game losing streak by manhandling the New York Giants, winning 31-13 in a game that wasn’t actually even that close. Andy Dalton led the way with four touchdowns to four different receivers.

Andy Dalton threw a career-high four touchdowns to four different receivers while Cincinnati's defense shut down the New York Giants, holding Eli Manning's squad out of the end zone until the game's closing minutes. Bengals blogger Josh Kirkendall said in his postgame recap that he was expecting some sort of collapse after the team blew second half leads in three straight losses, but was instead pleasantly surprised by the team's best outing of the season:
A determined passing game led by Andy Dalton and a fierce Bengals defense set the stage for Cincinnati's best all-around performance against a team not named the Jacksonville Jaguars. In fact it's the first win against a team sporting a winning record since Cincinnati's Nov. 6 win over the Tennessee Titans last year.
Dalton and the Bengals were up 14-0 with less than five minutes off the clock. They could’ve stopped scoring then, as the opposition would only muster 13 points in the entire game. Cincinnati led by 25 before a garbage time rushing touchdown by the Giants with under three minutes to go.
The Bengals are now 4-5 heading into a pair of winnable games against Kansas City and Oakland, although a run at the playoffs is a long shot with Baltimore and Pittsburgh ahead of them in the division.
