Aaron Rodgers found Randall Cobb for a 22-yard touchdown to take a 21-20 lead with two minutes to play, and the Green Bay Packers held off the Detroit Lions at Ford Field for a 24-20 victory on Sunday.

The Green Bay Packers scored a go-ahead touchdown with two minutes left and held off the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
Rodgers was 19-of-27 for 236 yards, two touchdowns and an interception on a sloppy day that saw the Packers commit nine penalties for 80 yards. Detroit did little better, as quarterback Matthew Stafford threw for 262 yards but also had two interceptions and one fumble that was recovered by Green Bay.
After Detroit first scored on an early 30-yard field goal by Jason Hanson, Rodgers found tight end Jermichael Finley for a 20-yard touchdown reception to give Green Bay a 7-3 lead just into the second quarter.
The Lions took a 10-7 lead into halftime thanks to a 10-play, 74-yard drive in the heart of the second quarter that was capped by a Mikel Leshoure 1-yard touchdown run. Leshoure had 19 carries for 84 yards on the day.
Halfway through the third quarter, Green Bay defensive back M.D. Jennings picked Stafford on a deep pass and returned it 72 yards for a touchdown, taking advantage of one of Stafford's three turnovers.
But with Green Bay leading 14-10, Detroit responded. Calvin Johnson caught a 25-yard touchdown pass with three minutes left in the third quarter, and Hanson added another field goal to give the Lions a 20-14 lead with four minutes to play in the game.
The Packers responded with a six-play, 82-yard drive that took 2:30 and ended with the go-ahead score before Crosby kicked in a field goal to seal the game.
Winners: Mason Crosby missed a 50-yard field goal and a 38-yard field goal that would have been the difference in a close game. He avoided being the scapegoat and finished the game on a high note on a 39-yarder with 24 seconds left after Detroit turned the ball over on downs.
Losers: Detroit’s offense, which converted only 6-of-15 third downs and was 2-of-4 in red zone opportunities.
Fantasy stud: Calvin Johnson had five catches for 139 yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy dud: Matthew Stafford, who threw two interceptions and completed just 17-of-39 passes.
Odds: Betters on the Packers must have been pleased with Crosby’s late field goal after Green Bay opened as 3.5-point favorites.
Injury info: Detroit left tackle Jeff Backus left the game with a hamstring injury, and he was later downgraded to being out.
Next up: The Packers plays the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium next Sunday while the Lions deal with a quick turnaround. Detroit hosts the Houston Texans on Thursday.
