The Dallas Cowboys defeated the Cleveland Browns in overtime 23-20 on Sunday afternoon in a wild game that saw multiple lead changes in the final few minutes of regulation. A last-second field goal by Dallas sent the game to overtime, where the Cowboys finished off the win with another kick from Dan Bailey.

The Cowboys had to come from behind more than once before finally beating the Browns in overtime 23-20 on Sunday afternoon.

Cleveland led for the majority of the game, taking a 13-0 lead into halftime and a double-digit lead into the fourth quarter, but the Cowboys rode a pair of fourth quarter touchdowns to a late lead before Cleveland’s offense came alive again.
Once the Cowboys’ 13-0 deficit had turned into a 17-13 advantage, it seemed like the game was essentially over, but the Browns responded late. Even after initially failing on a 4-and-1 at the Cowboys’ 1-yard line with less than two minutes in the game, the Browns capitalized after being afforded another opportunity.
After Dallas stopped Brandon Weeden's pass attempt on fourth down with just under two minutes left in the game, the Browns' defense came up with a huge three-and-out to give the offense another shot. A horse collar tackle penalty on the kick return put Cleveland in the red zone, and the Browns capitalized on their first chance with a score.
Unfortunately, that quick score gave Dallas over a minute to respond with a game-tying drive. The Cowboys got into the red zone with just a few seconds left in the game, forcing overtime on a relatively easy kick from Bailey. Once there, a key stop gave the Cowboys strong enough field position to kick the game-winning 38-yarder.
Penalties, penalties... and more penalties
To put things simply, this was a game with many penalties. The Browns committed 12 penalties for 129 yards while the Cowboys committed nine for 92. The two teams combined for more penalty yardage than rushing yardage on the game. For all of the excitement that this game provided, one certainly couldn’t argue that it was played cleanly.
Fantasy studs/duds
Trent Richardson had a solid game, finishing with 95 rushing yards and 49 receiving yards, albeit with zero touchdowns. Weeden finished with 210 yards and two scores through the air, both touchdown passes going to Benjamin Watson.
Dez Bryant was the big fantasy performer for Dallas, catching 12 passes for 145 yards and a touchdown. Tony Romo finished 35-of-50 for 313 yards and a score, though he did get sacked seven times.

Dallas was favored by seven points, so they failed to cover despite winning.

Injury info
The Cowboys had a few different injuries, including a head injury to DeMarcus Ware, although he only left the game temporarily. Safety Charlie Peprah and left tackle Tyron Smith also left the game, with those two players failing to return to action. Browns defensive back Buster Skrine also left the game late with a head injury.
