NFL Score Update: Chargers cut the lead in Denver

San Diego pulling closer in a game that they can’t afford to lose.

The San Diego Chargers will be all be looking at an improbable mission to make the playoffs if they lose to the Denver Broncos today. Up until a few minutes ago, that improbable mission looked very likely. However, Philip Rivers cut the lead to 24-16 after an 8-yard touchdown pass to Danario Alexander as the game enters the fourth quarter.

Von Miller has sacked Rivers three times and caused two forced fumbles, while Peyton Manning has three touchdown passes and tries to keep Denver ahead.

In other late games, the Patriots have pulled away from the Colts and the Saints just look to run the clock down against the Raiders.
