Buccaneers vs. Panthers, Week 11: Bucs would not be denied
SB Nation’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers blog, Bucs Nation, reacts to the team’s victory on Sunday over Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers.

Tampa Bay looked to be on point as they have the past several weeks now, jumping out to an early 10-0 lead. But there after, the offense looked lost and the defense couldn’t prevent long drives.
After falling behind by two possessions with six minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Josh Freeman and the Buccaneers scored a field goal to turn the game into a one-possession deficit with four minutes remaining in regulation.
As they say, the rest is history, but Sander Philipse of SB Nation’s Buccaneers blog, Bucs Nation, does it justice with his recap of what happened after.
But the Tampa Bay Buccaneers would not be denied, and they stepped up in the fourth quarter. Forty minutes in real time a defensive stop, a touchdown, a two-point conversion and an overtime opening drive later, Dallas Clark tip-toed into the endzone to give Tampa Bay its sixth victory of the season.
The 6-4 Buccaneers will now head back to Tampa Bay and prepare to host the visiting Atlanta Falcons in another NFC South clash.
