Just two days after facing his former team on Monday Night Football, Chicago Bears starting left guard Chilo Rachal was reportedly placed on the organization's reserve list according to Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times.

The 26-year-old Rachal has been a fixture on head coach Lovie Smith's offensive line since moving into the starting lineup in Week 3, but reportedly left the organization under his own power due to "personal reasons" on Wednesday. Rachal signed a one-year deal with the Bears in the offseason after wrapping up his first four years in the league with the San Francisco 49ers, and has been viewed as a reliable interior lineman for a Chicago team that currently sits in an NFC playoff spot at 7-3 overall.
While Rachal was especially pumped to play in front of his friends and family on Monday, the 6'5, 323-pounder, like much of his teammates, hardly put forth a strong effort in the embarrassing 32-7 loss. Now that his ill-timed decision has thrown a wrench into Chicago's plans along its offensive line, the team opted to sign offensive lineman James Brown from its practice squad.
