Week 12 NFL picks: 49ers vs. Saints
The New Orleans Saints host the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, and most experts see the Saints coming out on top in the Superdome.

A mix of 12 writers and former players pick at ESPN.com, and five of them see the 49ers taking the win. The other seven join the Accuscore prediction and the collected ESPN Pick ‘Em users in thinking the Saints will post the victory. It’s split down the middle at Yahoo! Sports, with Jason Cole and Les Carpenter taking New Orleans, and Mike Silver and the collected Yahoo! users picking San Francisco. Seven out of eight of the writers at CBS Sports predict a Saints victory straight up, and even considering the spread (New Orleans +2.5) does nothing to change those votes.
Sunday will see New Orleans’ second-ranked passing offense go up against the No. 2 pass defense, while San Francisco’s No. 1 rushing offense will face the Saints’ last-ranked rush defense. The two teams last saw each other in the divisional round of the 2011 playoffs, where San Francisco posted a narrow win at home.
