Washington Redskins kicker Kai Forbath might as well run for mayor in Washington, D.C., says Hogs Haven's Kevin Ewoldt:
Redskins vs. Cowboys 2012: Forbath makes huge kick for Washington
Redskins kicker Kai Forbath remains a perfect 10-for-10 on field goals in his career after hitting a key 48-yard attempt late in the team’s win over the Cowboys on Thursday.

Kai Forbath with a HUGE field goal to make it a 2 score game late. He should run for Mayor of DC tomorrow...he’d win in a land slide assuming he’s never smoked crack.
Forbath's field goal at the 2:58 mark in the fourth quarter put the Redskins ahead by two scores, which was of massive importance at that point in the game. After trailing at halftime, 28-3, the Cowboys pulled to within a score of Washington on their previous possession.
Given the football with a little more than eight minutes left and desperately needing a long, time-consuming drive, the Redskins' offense went to work. Quarterback Robert Griffin III hooked up with Santana Moss for two key plays, one of which came on third-and-1, helping Washington to embark on an 11-play, 50-yard drive that took more than five minutes off the clock.
Forbath then put his 48-yard attempt directly through the middle of the uprights, putting the Redskins up by 10. Washington held Dallas to a field goal on the next possession, and recovered the ensuing onside kick to put the game away.
