Tampa Bay saw a four-game winning streak snapped in Week 12 with a 24-23 loss to the NFL-best Atlanta Falcons. Rookie running back Doug Martin averages 96 rushing yards per game for the Bucs, whose offense ranks 12th in the league.
The Tampa defense surrenders nearly 400 yards per game, boasting the league's best run defense but its worst pass defense. That's bad news when visiting Peyton Manning and the Broncos' passing game. Manning throws for 288 yards per game, sixth-best in the league.
Denver’s advantage in the passing game seems to be leading experts to pick a Broncos win. The large staff of pickers at ESPN overwhelmingly pick the Broncos to take care of the Bucs by a 10-0 mark.
Similar predictions are up at CBS Sports, with six of eight experts siding with Denver, while the smaller Yahoo! sample is 4-0 for the Broncos.
