Oakland Raiders linebacker Rolando McClain was not at practice Tuesday but still remains on the team's roster, according to Raiders beat writer Jerry McDonald.
Rolando McClain hasn’t been cut yet, but isn’t practicing
The third-year linebacker appears to be headed out the door in Oakland, but remains on the Raiders’ roster.

McClain’s absence from practice comes a day after the linebacker proclaimed to the world, “Officially no longer an Oakland Raider!!” on his official Facebook page. Not long after that, he followed up with a post that read, “Well technically I am. But I’m mentally done. Just waiting on my papers.”
The Raiders denied this, saying that McClain was still on the team’s 53-man roster.
The 6’4” linebacker is in his third NFL season, all with the Raiders, and has recorded 60 tackles and one sack in 11 games this year. Drafted eighth overall in the 2010 draft, McClain tallied 274 tackles and five interceptions in three seasons with the Alabama Crimson Tide, entering the draft after his junior season.
Prior to the 2012 NFL season, McClain was sentenced to 180 days in jail in April, 2012 based on a incident with a firearm in Nov., 2011.
