The Oakland Raiders play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 9, and both teams are 3-4 and looking to keep some recent momentum going.

Both teams are stronger against the run than the pass, with Tampa Bay's pass defense the second worst in the league, giving up an average of 309.6 yards per game. Carson Palmer and the Oakland receiving corps are ranked 10th in the league in yardage, but Palmer has thrown only nine touchdowns with five interceptions and four fumbles.
Tampa Bay has found some success leaning on rookie running back Doug Martin, but Oakland's run defense is just outside the top 10, giving up just over 100 yards per game. Tampa Bay is even better, and Oakland's Darren McFadden will have to contend with the No. 6 run defense in the league.
With Oakland giving up 246.4 passing yards per game, Josh Freeman should have plenty of time to find Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams. Oakland has collected only ten sacks on the season, 30th in the league. 10 is also the number of sacks given up by Tampa Bay, but they play Sunday without All-Pro left guard Carl Nicks.
