NFC West injury report: Danny Amendola likely to return Week 10

It was a light week for injuries in the NFC West with two teams on bye, but several players, including St. Louis’ Danny Amendola, are making their way back from previous bumps and bruises.

Scott Rovak-US PRESSWIRE

Danny Amendola is expected to play for the first time for the St. Louis Rams next week after dislocating his clavicle in Week 5.

Amendola was a key part of Sam Bradford's receiving corps for the first part of the year, including a 15-reception, 160-yard game Week 2 against the Washington Redskins. But he was unable to play in the team's last three games, and an offensively challenged Rams squad dropped all three. The team had a bye week this past week, but will return to action against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday with Amendola in the lineup. Chris Givens, another wide receiver who was injured in the team's game Week 8 against the New England Patriots, is questionable with a toe injury.

The Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks were both more or less injury free in their Week 9 games, but have several players on the mend from previous injuries: Braylon Edwards' knee has kept him out of Seattle's last two games, but he's questionable against the Jets, and for the Cardinals, Todd Heap might be able to play in Week 11 after a bye despite being inactive for the team's past three games with a knee injury.

The San Francisco 49ers were inactive in Week 9. Brandon Jacobs is still considered questionable with a knee injury that has caused him to miss the entire regular season thus far.
