The Cowboys lost another game in the final seconds on national television, and afterward, owner Jerry Jones ran into some problems of his own.

He can’t get through to his team: The most obvious choice. Because no matter how hard Jerry Jones tries to impart his priceless wisdom on the directionless professional athletes on his payroll, he just can’t get the message across, and the Cowboys keep wandering along the road to nowhere.
The door is reality: No matter how hard Jerry Jones pounds and screams, it doesn’t change the fact that the Cowboys have one of the worst offensive lines in the league, Tony Romo always finds a way to fail, and the defense has been overmatched for years now. Reality keeps winning, the Cowboys keep losing, and Jerry Jones is powerless.
The locker room is the playoffs: For obvious reasons.
Or maybe, on the same day Jerry explained he would’ve fired himself as GM if he didn’t also own the team, Jerry Jones is Cowboys fans, pounding and screaming and impossibly frustrated. If that were the case, wouldn’t it mean Jerry Jones got a taste of what it’s been like to root for his stupid team for the past decade, making this not just a funny post-game note, but also the most cathartic highlight in the last 15 years of the Dallas Cowboys?
