A Kansas City TV station is reporting a Chiefs player has been involved in a shooting at Arrowhead Stadium. Facility is on lock down.


According to KCTV, Kansas City police say a Chiefs player and his girlfriend were shot and killed.
The shootings involve a Chiefs player and his girlfriend.
The first shooting was reported about 8 a.m. at a home near 54th Street and Chrysler Avenue. The second shooting was reported a short time later at a Chiefs practice facility located on the Arrowhead facility.
Officials said the Chiefs player shot and killed his girlfriend and then drove to the practice facility where he shot and killed himself.
KMBZ News also tweeted that Kansas City police have confirmed that shooting has taken place at the stadium.
FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer also tweeted the following update:

Glazer earlier tweeted that a player and another person had been shot at the facility, but he has not revealed who, because the player’s family has not yet been contacted.
The Chiefs were preparing to host the Carolina Panthers Sunday at Arrowhead. That game is scheduled for noon CT.
