Cardinals vs. Seahawks 2012: Seattle clicks on all cylinders in Week 14 blowout

The Seahawks showed on Sunday that they’re capable of beating just about anyone in the league with a 58-0 blowout win.

There are few teams in the NFL playing better than the Seattle Seahawks right now. The team has positioned themselves for a playoff spot in the tough NFC, and following an impressive 58-0 annihilation of the Arizona Cardinals in Week 14, it's hard to think anyone wants to play Seattle in the coming weeks.

SB Nation’s Seahawks blog, Field Gulls, called this game one of the more memorable in franchise history. The offense, defense and special teams units finally all played exceptionally well, which the fans had been hoping for all season long.

In all, the ‘Hawks outgained Arizona 493 to 154 en route to their largest victory in franchise history. This game was a peek into what this team is capable of, and what this team is capable of is not only beating any team in the NFL, but burying them so deep that no one will even bother to look for the remains.

As a team, the Seahawks forced eight turnovers and held a 38-point lead by halftime. It’s tough to find any real blemishes to the day, and it’s a performance the coaching staff will be awfully proud of when they watch tape this week.

The Seahawks will look to continue their winning ways against a struggling Bills team in Week 15. It will be a challenge for Seattle to avoid overlooking Buffalo with a huge showdown with the 49ers looming the following weekend.
