NFC East injury report, Week 14: Robert Griffin goes down with knee injury
The Redskins suffered a major scare on Sunday when Haloti Ngata almost wrecked Robert Griffin’s knee.
However, the win came at a cost, with Robert Griffin III injuring his knee late in the fourth quarter on a hit by Baltimore's massive defensive tackle, Haloti Ngata. It's unclear yet what exactly is wrong with Griffin's knee, although ligament damage has been ruled out.
Griffin is scheduled to have an MRI Monday, which should reveal the exact nature of his ailment.
Around the rest of the division, the Philadelphia Eagles' tight end Brent Celek sustained a concussion in the first half of the Eagles' 23-21 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It would be a surprise if he plays Thursday night against the Cincinnati Bengals.
New York Giants' running back Ahmad Bradshaw sprained his knee early against the New Orleans Saints but was able to play the rest of the 52-27 victory on a limited basis.
