Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey is expected to be okay after he was hospitalized on Monday after he felt ill. Jaguars defensive coordinater Mel Tucker, who attended Mularkey's weekly press conference in place of the ill coach, said that he had spoke to him since he was hospitalized:

“I did talk to him earlier, and it’s business as usual at EverBank,” Tucker said. “He seemed to be doing pretty good and we look forward to having back here tomorrow.”

When Mularkey had arrived at the Jaguars practice facility on Monday, he went to the training room because he wasn't feeling well and was then taken to Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville. There is a chance that he could be kept overnight for more observation. Mularkey, in his first season coaching the Jaguars, has gone 2-11 -- including Sunday's 17-10 loss to the New York Jets.

The Jaguars are now preparing for next Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins. That game will be played at Sun Life Stadium in Miami with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m. EST and the television broadcast on CBS.
