Everyone involved in the Chicago Bears organization has to be frustrated as they find themselves in the midst of yet another late season collapse that will likely keep them out of the postseason. Following their most recent loss to the Green Bay Packers, according to Dan Hanzus of NFL.com, Brandon Marshall let his anger boil over.

Brandon Marshall could not contain his frustration any longer during an emotionally charged press conference following the Chicago Bears’ loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

“Everyone on offense needs to be held accountable, even if it means jobs.”
He may be talking about members of the offensive line, who have strangled the offensive potential of the Bears with their porous pass protection. He may be talking about his fellow wide receivers, Devin Hester and Alshon Jeffery, who combined for zero receptions against Green Bay. He may even be talking about offensive coordinator Mike Tice, who has orchestrated an anemic offensive effort over the past six games. According to Marshall, the problems have been there, but nothing has improved all season.
“It’s been the same way all year. It’s the same thing every single game.”
Marshall went on to say how the team’s poor performance has affected him personally.
“What I got to do is try my best to keep it together and not let this affect me because it’s starting to affect me more than it should. And I love this game, I’m very passionate about this game, and right now it’s affecting me way too much.”
Brandon Marshall and the Bears began the season 7-1, but now sit at 8-6 and on the outside looking in at the NFC playoff picture. Their final two games pit them against the Arizona Cardinals and the Detroit Lions.
