Jaguars vs. Dolphins, Week 15 reaction: Fans laud Miami’s offense in convincing win

Ryan Tannehill and Reggie Bush draw most of the praise from Dolphins fans after a 24-3 victory over the Jaguars keeps the Dolphins’ slim postseason hopes alive.

Robert Mayer-USA TODAY Sports

Matched up against the league's 31st-ranked defense, the Miami Dolphins enjoyed a big offensive day in their 24-3 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, a performance that left the Dolphins' faithful pleased with the effort in a victory.

Over at The Phinsider, most of the bloggers’ praise went the way of quarterback Ryan Tannehill who had his best day of the season statistically.

The day was led by Ryan Tannehill’s performance, particularly in the second half. The rookie quarterback finished the day with a 123.2 passer rating, complting 22 of 28 passes for 220 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran eight times for 52 yards, with a long of 30.

Running back Reggie Bush was also highlighted for his second game of the season rushing for more than 100 yards.

Running back Reggie Bush topped 100 yards for the second time this season, carrying the ball 21 times for 104 yards. He had a 53-yard run on the day, and finishes with a 5.0 yards per carry average. Bush is now 105 yards short of his second straight 1,000 yard rushing season.

When wrapping the game up, the guys were especially keen to point out that the Dolphins had well exceeded expectations coming into the 2012 season, often doubling expected win totals from some of the nation’s pundits.

The sixth win for the Dolphins double most “expert” opinions of where this team would finish for the season, and keeps the Dolphins trying to end their three-straight losing season streak.
