Mark Sanchez’s fumble was the only way to end the Jets-Titans game

So fitting.

Andy Lyons

The Titans beat the Jets on Monday Night Football and the game (if you wanna call it that) ended in the only appropriate way: a Mark Sanchez fumble.

Capping off his five-turnover day, Sanchez mishandled the snap as the Jets were preparing for the game-winning drive, the ball was kicked by his own teammate and the Titans recovered.

Ohsnap_medium

The snap was low, I’ll give him that. But at this point in the game that’s a snap he absolutely has to field cleanly.

Drive over and season over. The Jets were officially eliminated from the playoffs with the loss.

Though it wasn’t a butt-fumble, Twitter still lit up the moment the Jets lost. I think some variation of “LOL MNF” is the correct reaction here.
