Robert Griffin III is in the middle of an outrageous rookie year where he’s spent the past 12 weeks turning the Redskins in a winning team (???) AND winning over pretty much anyone who watches football. But that’s not all! He’s also found time to trademark a whole bunch of awful motivational phrases that you’d see in high school weight room. Via DC Sports Bog:
Go catch your dream and work hard and stay humble and then trademark EVERYTHING
Robert Griffin III’s not a businessman, he’s a business, man.

“Light You Up” is the stupidest thing to trademark, right? Although Unbelievably Believable could probably drive you insane if you heard it often enough.
It’s not even that surprising considering the way athletes maximize endorsements these days. Unbelievably believable, you might say. So ... if RGIII wants to be the Adidas-sponsored Deepak Chopra of sports, I guess that’s cool? If Tim Tebow were doing this we’d be MERCILESS, but RGIII’s ten times cooler than on and off the field, so let’s just pretend it’s cool to trademark @RevRunWisdom. And for the record, Redskins fans will definitely buy pretty much anything RGIII sells. SB Nation’s resident ‘Skins fan, Chris Mottram, watches every single Redskins game wearing these socks in his living room:
DREAM BIG LIVE BIGGER, CHRIS.
