The New York Jets "played" host to the Arizona Cardinals in a "football" game Sunday afternoon, with tons of "passes" and "catches." Here are some of the worst numbers from a game that, if you watched, you'll need to have someone dictate to you because your eyes have already been clawed from their sockets.

The Arizona Cardinals and New York Jets played a football game Sunday. Or, at least something that resembled football, we think.

- In 60 minutes of play, the Arizona Cardinals gained 137 yards and only turned the ball over once. That is an average of 2.28 yards per minute. They punted 10 times.
- The Cardinals and Jets combined to complete 25 passes in 59 attempts for 198 yards. That's an average of 3.35 yards per attempt. They also threw four interceptions, and the only player to throw a touchdown pass started the day third on the quarterback depth chart (Jets QB Greg McElroy, to backup tight end Dustin Keller).
- Cardinals running back Rashad Johnson broke off a 40-yard run. This accounted for roughly 30 percent of the Cardinals' offense in the game.
To be fair to the Cardinals and Jets offense, the Cardinals’ defense is fourth in the league in yards against, and the Jets’ D is seventh. Still, that doesn’t account for the shamockery that was this game.
The Jets won, 7-6, by the way. No word yet on if the NFL will fine them eleventy billion dollars for being terrible at winning enjoyable football games.
