NFL picks Week 16: Patriots vs. Jaguars

Experts weigh in on who will win the Week 16 matchup between the Patriots and Jaguars.

David Butler II-USA TODAY Sports

As the New England Patriots head to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars in Week 16, Bill Belichick's squad is nearly a unanimous pick to come out on top.

Among sampled experts, CBS Sports’ Mike Freeman is the lone prognosticator bold enough to pick the Jaguars in a huge upset on Sunday in Jacksonville. The rest of the site’s experts have the Patriots pegged to walk away with a victory. We can’t be sure whether Freeman accidentally checked the wrong box on his ballot, or if he’s playing the Skip Bayless-esque contrarian role.

The Patriots are 14.5-point favorites on Sunday, according to Oddsshark.com, are are as high as 15.5-point favorites at one sportsbook.

Seven of ESPN’s NFL experts have picked New England to come out on top in Week 16, while all four of Yahoo! Sports’ NFL experts are picking the Patriots to win.

Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. ET at EverBank field and the game will be televised on CBS.
