The Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons are set to square off on Saturday night, with the former well out of playoff contention and the latter having already secured its spot atop the NFC. About an hour prior to kickoff, both teams released their gameday inactives, and there's few surprises.
NFL inactives, Week 16: Falcons vs. Lions
With kickoff approaching, it’s time to run down gameday inactives for the Week 16 matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions.
The biggest name for the Lions is tight end Brandon Pettigrew. He had already missed some time, and was listed as "doubtful" on the Friday injury report. Pettigrew also did not practice all week, which was a pretty good indication that he would not play on Saturday.
For the Falcons, the biggest name on the injury report coming into this one was wide receiver Roddy White, who has been dealing with a nagging injury for a couple weeks now. White was listed as "questionable" with his knee injury, but he is active for the game.
