NFL inactives, Week 16: Vikings vs. Texans

Vikings defensive end Brian Robinson and Texans safety Quintin Demps are among the inactives for the teams’ Week 16 showdown.

Minnesota Vikings defensive end Brian Robinson and Houston Texans safety Quintin Demps are among the inactives for the teams' intriguing Week 16 matchup full of playoff implications.

Robinson joins six other Vikings among the inactives for the Sunday afternoon showdown, including third-string quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson and rookie linebacker Audie Cole. In his sixth year Robinson, who is struggling with a shoulder injury, has started all 14 of the Vikings games and has recorded 7.5 sacks and forced two fumbles on the season.

Also inactive for the Vikings are cornerback Brandon Burton, tackle Troy Kropog and defensive end D'Aundre Reed.

Demps, in his fourth season, has 32 combined tackles in 11 games played for the Texans in 2012 and has struggled with a forearm injury all season. Demps is joined on the Texans' inactives list by cornerback Alan Ball, offensive linemen Antoine Caldwell, Chris White and Andrew Gardner, nose tackle Terrell McClain and corner Stanford Routt.
