For the first time since Week 5 of the 2011 season, the Jacksonville Jaguars scored a touchdown on their opening possession on Sunday. Chad Henne completed all six of his passes, driving Jacksonville down the field and throwing a touchdown to Justin Blackmon to take a 7-0 lead over the New England Patriots.
Jaguars score touchdown on opening possession for the first time all season against Patriots
Jacksonville had not scored a touchdown on its opening possession since October of 2011.

In a game pretty much nobody gave the Jaguars a chance to win, they have stormed out to a lead in front of the biggest crowd the team has had at home all season.
On the very next possession, Tom Brady was intercepted by Chris Prosinski. Brady's interception was the first he has ever thrown against the Jaguars in his career.
With rumors flying about the fate of the Jaguars front office, the team has come out an shown some life in Week 16. There is still plenty of football left to play, though. Either way, this is all too little ,too late for the 2-12 Jaguars.
