For the second week in a row, the depleted New England Patriots secondary lost another starting cornerback after Aqib Talib missed the entire second half against the Jacksonville Jaguars due to an injured hip. New England's other starting cornerback Alfonzo Dennard missed the game due to an injury suffered against the San Francisco 49ers.

New England Patriots cornerback Aqib Talib missed the entire second half of their game against the Jacksonville Jaguars due to a hip injury.

Talib's injury forced Devin McCourty to move from safety to cornerback. It's unknown how much time Talib will have to miss, but with the playoffs just two weeks away, the Patriots can't afford to lose him for an extended period of time.
Buffalo Bills tight end Scott Chandler was one of four players lost during their 24-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Chandler injured his left knee in the first half and was seen on crutches after the game. Bills head coach Chan Gailey said that Chandler's injury "doesn't look good at all." and it is unlikely that he will play in the season finale against the New York Jets.
In addition to Chandler, the Bills lost fullback Dorin Dickerson (ankle), safety Da'Norris Searcy (groin) and cornerback Stephon Gilmore (head) to injuries, and they were unable to return to Sunday's game.
The Dolphins just had one injury against the Bills, with cornerback Sean Smith leaving the game in the second quarter with a knee injury and not returning.
The Jets appear to have no significant injuries after their 27-17 loss to the San Diego Chargers.
